Snickerdoodle-Stuffed Medjool Dates
The two-bite pre-workout snack: fast carbs from the date, steady fat and protein from the bar. Working with the bars: Chill to chop. 15 minutes in the fridge and the bars cut into clean chunks, batons, or crumbs without smearing on the knife.

Ingredients
- 8 Medjool dates
- 1 Snickerdoodle bar, chilled and cut into 8 batons
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- Ground cinnamon and flaky salt, to finish
Method

Slit each date lengthwise and remove the pit.

Smear a little almond butter inside, press a bar baton into the pocket, and pinch the date closed around it.

Dust with cinnamon and a few flakes of salt. Eat immediately, or freeze 10 minutes for a firmer, caramel-chew texture. They keep a week in the fridge.
