Bison Bar Stuffed Dates

Medjool dates stuffed with a sliver of Genesee bar, a smear of almond butter, and finished with flaky salt. Five ingredients, five minutes, no cooking required.

Ingredients

  • 8 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 Genesee Dark Chocolate Almond bar, cut into 8 thin slices
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • Flaky sea salt
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne or espresso powder for heat

Method

    Slice each date lengthwise along one side to open like a book — do not cut all the way through.

    Press a small sliver of bar into the hollow of each date.

  3. 3

    Top with about 1 teaspoon of almond butter.

  4. 4

    Finish with a few flakes of sea salt — and cayenne or espresso powder if using.

    Arrange on a plate and serve at room temperature; the bar softens slightly inside the warm date.
