How does it fit a heavy lifting block?+
With 21g of complete protein and dense ancestral fats, Genesee is one of the easier ways to keep real-food fuel around long training days without making meals complicated. Most of our lifters keep 2-3 bars around for long days on top of their regular meals.
Will it work during a lighter training block?+
Yes — same 290 cal / 21g protein math can flex with your training rhythm. The bison tallow helps the bar stay satisfying longer than a low-fat bar, and the protein density supports hard sessions without making the snack complicated. Talk to your coach for specifics.
Why no whey or soy?+
We do use whey protein isolate, along with collagen and peanut butter. Soy protein is out because the ancestral / meat-eater crowd we built this for already excludes it, and the current protein stack lets us hit 21g without soy isolate. (One label note: White Chocolate Toffee does contain soy lecithin from its white chocolate — Coffee Latte and Snickerdoodle are fully soy-free.)
