From NJCAA basketball to a label-first protein bar.

Will Carr played NJCAA basketball, where portable food was part of the routine. He founded Genesee around a more specific product brief: publish the full per-flavor label, use grass-fed bison tallow as a visible fat ingredient, and give customers a 21g protein bar they can evaluate without vague performance promises. The current lineup includes Coffee Latte, White Chocolate Toffee, and Snickerdoodle.

Genesee sells direct to consumers through one-time and subscription options. Will is available for interviews about building a food brand, the NJCAA athlete experience, ingredient-label literacy, and why Genesee chose bison tallow.
