Genesee Nutrition began the way the best things do — at a kitchen table, with a stubborn conviction that real food should fuel real life. Founders Will and Lauren were tired of “health” bars padded with seed oils, synthetic sweeteners, and ingredients they couldn’t pronounce. So they set out to build the bar they actually wanted to feed their own family.

From their home in the Colorado mountains, they went back to ancestral wisdom — the nutrient-dense animal fats that fueled people for generations — and paired it with modern protein science to create something genuinely new: the world’s first bison tallow protein bar.
